LA Guns	The Ballad Of Jayne		Cocked & Loaded is one of their most finest album in their career, LA Guns tried to balance the power between Guns N' Roses and Motley Crue by compose one of the great ballad track "The Ballad Of Jayne" which was on a Top 40 hit.
	I Found You		LA Guns tried to follow the success of "The Ballad Of Jayne" in this album. However, most of the songs is fair. "I Found You" might be considered as one of their beautiful ballads after "The Ballad Of Jayne".

Labyrinth	Falling Rain		Form in 1998, the Italian power metal band, Labyrinth resurrected with their new line up in this album, Return to Heaven Denied. The album features their great crystal guitar sound ballad "Falling Rain"

Led Zeppelin	Stairway To Heaven		Voted as the greatest power ballad of all time, "Stairway To Heaven" combines the beautiful acoustic guitar, smooth sound of keyboard and flutes, and solid power of drums. The song builds from fingerpicked acoustic guitar to a storming torrent of guitar riffs and solo. This is the true gorgeous power ballad ever.

Lenny Kravitz	Again		This ballad first appeard on the Greatest Hits album in 2000. It later was released as singles by the end of the year and became a top ten hit.

Life of Agony	My Mind is Dangerous		In 1997, New Yorker hardcore metal band, Life of Agony released their third album, Soul Searching Sun. With some of their new materials, they composed their true clear guitar-driven ballad "My Mind is Dangerous".

Limp Bizkit	Behind Blue Eyes		Being a rap-metal band, Limp Bizkit was unlikely to produce any ballad. But in their 2003 album, Results May Vary, they did it with the cover version of The Who's "Behind Blue Eyes".

Lita Ford	Lisa		One of the few female in hard rock music, Lita Ford proved everybody that woman can be hard heavy rock. She released her 1990 album, Stiletto, with no.14 hit on Mainstream Chart "Hungry". The album also features her best eerie ballad "Lisa" countering "Only Women Bleed" of Alice Cooper.

Lonestar	Amazed		The name of this Tennessee country band easily misleaded them for a Texas-originated band. In their third album, Lonely Grill, the band tried to mix the country style with the pop sound. The result was a strong album that gave hint of their future signature sound. One of the highlights was the surprising ballad "Amazed".

Lordi	The Children of the Night		The monster makeup appearance of the Finland's heavy metal band Lordi gave away the impression of the heavy sound in their songs. So it was pretty unexpected to found that their first album, Monster Show, in 2005 contained the metal ballad "The Children of the Night".
	It Snows In Hell		"It Snows In Hell" was the power ballad from the 2006 album, The Arockalypse. This ballad had acoustic sound on both end with the 80s metal ballad sound in the middle.

LoverBoy	This Could Be the Night		Released during the fall of their career in 1985, Loverboy managed to made their last two top ten singles; including the ballad about the man searching for love "This Could Be The Night", which reached no.10.
	Heaven in Your Eyes		This power ballad was released as a soundtrack for the film "Top Gun" in 1986. It reached no.12 the same year and didn't show up on any official Loverboy album until the compilation "Big Ones".

Lynyrd Skynyrd	Tuesday's Gone		Lynyrd Skynyrd was one of the first and most popular Southern rock band. They first appeared with the band's name- pronounciation-guide debut album in 1975. Among the Southern rock song was the strong ballad "Tuesday's Gone".
	Was I Right Or Wrong		This rock ballad was actually among the first recordings the band had done, but was not put into the official album. It was first released on the album "Skynyrd's First and… Last" in 1978, a year after the plane crash.
