EUROPE have announced the following Japanese tour dates:
Apr. 15 - Nagoya - Kinrou Kaikan - Japan
Apr. 17 - Tokyo - Kousei Nennkin Hall - Japan
Apr. 18 - Tokyo - Kousei Nennkin Hall - Japan
Apr. 20 - Osaka - Kousei Nennkin Hall - Japan
Also EUROPE announced yesterday (February 5) that they will be performing at the UPop@Abbey Road Sessions on Feb. 14, 2007 in London, U.K. EUROPE will be showcased among some of the hottest global recording artists in a four-day international broadcast event, sponsored by Worldspace Satellite Radio, one of the world leaders in satellite-based digital radio services.
"For us this is a great tribute to come to Abbey Road to rock the room that has hosted so many great bands over the years," said EUROPE vocalist Joey Tempest.
"We are pleased to welcome EUROPE to the second annual UPop@Abbey Road Sessions," said William Sabatini, Worldspace vice president of global programming. "The UPop Sessions are designed to showcase a broad variety of musical genres and talent, giving our subscribers an incredible, diverse range of unique, exclusive and compelling content."
Worldspace's UPop@Abbey Road Sessions will feature four days of exclusive performances and live recording sessions by some of the hottest global pop talent including BOWLING FOR SOUP, THE INDIGO GIRLS, KATIE MELUA, ART BRUT, THE VIEW, WIRE DAISIES, THE BEAT FREAKZ, supergroup EUROPE, JACK SAVORETTI and TINY DANCERS. The sessions will take place Feb. 12-15, 2007 in Studio 2 at Abbey Road, the legendary recording studio of THE BEATLES, and will be hosted by Ted Kelly, vice president, content marketing, for Worldspace Satellite Radio.
