LORD, EX-DUNGEON, NEW ALBUM IN PRE-PRODUCTION

LORD (Ex-Dungeon) is currently in pre-production for the CD and expects a June release though Modern Invasion in Australia and New Zealand, with negotiations underway for releases in other territories. LORD will also be hitting the live circuit again, with an intimate show at the Palm Court Hotel in Wollongong on March 18, and a spot on the huge Overcranked Festival in Brisbane on March 24. More shows are in the final stages of being locked in around the middle of the year in support of "Ascendence".

Guitarist Mav Stevens left LORD in December 2006 due to non-band-related personal reasons. LORD is continuing to audition replacement guitarists but as yet no decision has been made. For all upcoming gigs, LORD will be joined by Shane Linfoot, guitarist of rising Sydney melodic metal stars TRANSCENDING MORTALITY until a permanent guitarist can be added.

The following report is courtesy of Wayne Thibodeau from Theguardian.pe.ca:

Legends. Icons. Idols. Those are the words used to describe AEROSMITH. They have sold over 100 million albums. They're members of the Rock and Roll Hall Of Fame. They're coming to Charlottetown. The Guardian has confirmed Aerosmith will play the Charlottetown Driving Park Entertainment Centre July 21. More than 30,000 fans are expected making it the largest concert in the Island's history. Last year's BLACK EYED PEAS concert attracted about 18,000. Aerosmith will be part of an all day rock festival that will include a series of local, regional and national bands. Negotiations are also ongoing with THE GUESS WHO to be part of the rock festival.
