ALICE COOPER TO RELEASE 'ALONG CAME A SPIDER' IN MAY
ALICE COOPER has set "Along Came a Spider" as the title of his new studio album, tentatively due in May. A two-and-a-half-minute video interview Cooper gave to Scott Harden at the Los Angeles Confidential magazine pre-Oscar party for Forest Whitaker at the Mondrian Hotel in Los Angeles has been posted online at YouTube.com.
According to a posting on POISON frontman Bret Michaels' official web site, two versions of a new Michaels solo track, "Anymore", will be posted on the site tomorrow (Thursday, March 1).
Fans will be given a chance to vote for their favorite, and the winning version will appear on Bret's new solo CD, due later in the year.
GENESIS TO ANNOUNCE NORTH AMERICAN TOUR DATES NEXT WEEK
Genesis will unveil their North American tourdates next Wednesday (March 7th). The announcement will be made in New York City, and Phil Collins, Tony Banks, and Mike Rutherford are expected to attend the event. No details have been confirmed yet, but the German Genesis fan club says there will be between 20 and 25 dates in arenas and stadiums in the fall, with rumors of Toronto on September 7th, Montreal on September 9th, and Los Angeles in October.
