RUSH has officially announced the dates for its upcoming world tour via the band's official web site. The tour will kick off in North America on June 13 at Atlanta's HiFi Buys Amphitheatre and will visit over 45 cities throughout the United States and Canada before traveling to Europe.
Tickets will go on sale beginning Saturday, March 31 in a majority of tour markets. The balance of performances will go on-sale over the next few weeks.

GENE SIMMONS SAYS HE DOESN'T WANT ORIGINAL KISS LINE UP TO REUNITE
A new Gene Simmons interview appears in the April issue of England's Classic Rock magazine. Gene discusses his reality series "Gene Simmons Family Jewels" and "Gene Simmons Rock School", (non-)marriage, Ace Frehley, Peter Criss and Paul Stanley. On the topic of Ace, Gene says, "I love him dearly, he's a sweetheart, but he's his own worst enemy. He's great with lots of people around but when he's alone he doesn't like himself. And he numbs himself. He's been numbing himself for 34 years that I know of. I don't know how often I've seen him straight, but it's almost never."

I'm like "What the fuck is it now? Is it another fucking cavity search by the cops?" It will be a girl at the door saying, "I drove all the way from Idaho…" and I'm like "Where the fuck are the potatoes?" I'm like, "What's the fucking matter with you? I'm 250 pounds of low-quality meat with the ability to irritate people and you drove all that way. You know what, here's gas money." I had to go to an ATM and give her $400 to get back to Idaho. All right, toots, good night, see ya. My mother brings this really fucking hot girl into the house. This girl was blue form being outside so fucking long. My mother's giving her soup and having a conversation. I spoke to her on the phone and I was like, "Mom, what are you letting these fucking people into the house for?" "Oh, she was cold." I was like, "Well yeah, but I don't know where the fuck she came from."

Peter Steele: It actually has played out. I pretty much got it out of my system. I'm actually looking for a wife. I go online for Russian brides.
