LORDI and the Finnish Post are collaborating in a wide range of Lordi merchandise besides the postal stamp that will be released in May 2007. Packaging boxes in various sizes and postcards are available and Lordi's latest single is sold in the post offices only. The Lordi merchandise machine has gone into overdraft with the unusal release of their Christmas single It snows in hell!

There was a saying in Finland “hell will freeze over before Finland wins Eurovision”. Then came Lordi and changed all that. Hell may have not frozen over judging the warmest autumn most of Europe is experiencing this fall but Lordi's third single from the triple platinum certified album Arockalypse is promptly titled 'It Snows In Hell' following the success of Eurovision Song Contest 2006 winner 'Hard Rock Hallelujah' and 'Who's Your Daddy?'.

It has been released in a special Christmas card plus envelope packaging, so you can send it as a Christmas card to your friends. Despite costing 9,90 euros and not being sold in the usual record stores it entered the Finnish charts last week at number two.

Besides the postal packages in various sizes featuring Lordi post offices also have a good selection of Lordi postcards. In the past few years Finnish post offices have changed a lot and compete now with various book stores and craft shops.

You can buy postcards, books, chocolates and candy ready to be send, little gifts, souvenirs and a lot of other things besides stamps. These Lordi products are a welcome addition to their good selection of packaging material for different occasions.

Due to great ticket sales for the February 4th show in Pratteln, Switzerland a second show has been added for February 5th at the same venue the next day.

The band's European tour schedule is now as follows. Note that their Finnish dates, originally scheduled for January 11th and 12th in Helsinki and Tampere respectively, have been postponed due to vocalist Joacim Cans needing recovery time following surgery on his vocal chords.
