BBM reports that U.K. progressive metallers THRESHOLD have changed the projected title of their new album to "Dead Reckoning" from the previously announced "Pilot in the Sky of Dreams" .

On the change of album title, keyboardist Richard West commented, "We decided that the working title 'Pilot in the Sky of Dreams' was more suitable as a song title — it didn't sound solid or powerful enough to represent the overall sound of the album."

"Dead Reckoning" was produced by Karl Groom and Richard West at Thin Ice Studios . The track listing is as follows:

THRESHOLD recently confirmed that its new CD artwork will be created by Thomas Ewerhard , whose credits include KING'S X , VANDEN PLAS and ASIA . Thomas Ewerhard has been responsible for THRESHOLD 's artwork since 1998, including the iconic "Hypothetical" and "Subsurface" covers.

"Dead Reckoning" is scheduled for release on March 23 via Nuclear Blast Records .

Last.fm has reported that IRON MAIDEN has booked the U.K.'s Donington Park for June 6, 2007 — two days before the Download festival kicks off. This would, of course, fit with the rumors lately about MAIDEN going on a festival tour next summer, and the fact that MAIDEN frontman Bruce Dickinson has been announcing from the stage at recent European gigs that the band will embark on a 2007 summer tour.

Saviours Of Rock (www.savioursofrock.com) have issued an interview with BLACK LABEL SOCIETY guitarist Nick Catanese, conducted by JL, in which he discusses the forthcoming OZZY OSBOURNE album, BLS's latest Shot To Hell, and how he met ZAKK WYLDE.

The following is an excerpt from the interview:

Q: So Zakk (Wylde) must be working on the new Ozzy (Osbourne) album also?

A: "Yup the man NEVER stops working. And I heard a few tracks its gonna blow people away."

Q: Have you heard any of it? I heard Zakk is getting his songs on this time at least?

A: "It's ALL Zakk, nobody else wrote, just like the ole days. Back to basics again. Its gonna be a great CD."

Q: So when can we see another Black Label album then, you guys seem to be churning them out?

A: "Shot To Hell is gonna be around awhile, the CD is too good just to throw it away and not push it. To many great songs to push. So we are gonna milk this one."
