STEEL ATTACK POSTPONED U.S. TOUR

STEEL ATTACK have issued the following update:

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, we have been forced to postpone the upcoming U.S. tour scheduled for March this year. Some of the venues brought the financial terms of the shows into dispute at the last second. In order to protect the financial interest of the band and avoid a loss that would have been the logical consequence of these lowered fees. Hopefully, these shows will be rescheduled [as soon as possible] at different locations."

WHITESNAKE REISSUED UPDATED

Deep Purple has announced the following updates regarding about the reissued of 3 Whitesnake albums.

The next three Whitesnake remasters have finally been scheduled for March 12 release in the UK. All pre-orders with DPAS Mailorder will go on that date. There are three titles. "Come An' Get It" from 1981 with Lord and Paice; "Live In The Heart Of The City", which comprises material from two London show in 1978 and 1980 (the former was before Paice joined); and the "Saints An' Sinners" album, recorded during the break up of the group in 1982, and the final album to include Bernie Marsden and Ian Paice. As before all three have bonus tracks.

The bonus tracks on Come an' Get It apparently include rough mixes of Child Of Babylon, Come An' Get It, and Till The Day I Die, alternate versions of Girl, and Lonely Days Lonely Nights, and the backing track of Hit An' Run. Saints & Sinners includes Young Blood and Saints And Sinners complete with early vocal takes, and one (unfinished) unreleased song called Soul Survivor.

The live album is apparently not being issued in full on separate releases as most fans wanted. Lose a gold star for that decision.
