Gigwise reports that
Newly reformed reggae-rockers The Police are apparently considering accepting a massive £150 million to tour America and Europe.
The three-piece fronted by Sting have reportedly been offered the sum by Rolling Stones tour promoter Michael Cohl.
Not only that, but the band - who recently announced they will play together again for the first time in decades at this month's Grammy Awards - are also said to be considering writing new material to go with a new Greatest Hits album.
Reports Stuart Copeland and Andy Summers have only agreed to the reunion on the condition Sting keeps his lute out away have as yet been unconfirmed.
A source tells The Sun, "The three of them have had their squabbles and differences over the years.
“But they are all older and wiser now and they have decided to put the past behind them.
“The money has, of course, helped them to see sense.”
