NIGHTMARE BEGINS RECORD NEW ALBUM

NIGHTMARE have posted several live video clips on their MySpace page from the band's comeback gig in 1999, their Metal Meltdown appearance in New Jersey in 2002 and the Metallian European tour in 2004. Check them out at this location.

NIGHTMARE recently started pre-production for its sixth studio album. After three albums that were helmed by Norwegian producer Terje Refsnes, the band has now opted for a new challenge.

The recording will start May 7 at Studio Fredman in Gothenburg, Sweden with producer Fredrik Nordström (DIMMU BORGIR, IN FLAMES, HAMMERFALL, DREAM EVIL). The follow-up to 2005's "The Dominion Gate" will be released in the fall by Sweden's Regain Records. A European tour will follow. The band has also joined forces with international booking agent MDM Concerts in Germany in cooperation with Blue Steel Agency.

HALLOWS EVE TO BE REUNITED FOR A GIG SINCE 1989

Original HALLOWS EVE members Stacy Andersen (vocals) and Tommy Stewart (bass) will appear on stage together for the first time since 1989 during the band's performance at the New England Metal And Hardcore Festival on April 27-28 to celebrate the 25th anniversary of Metal Blade Records. They will be joined by ex-RIGOR MORTIS lead vocalist and guitarist Doyle Bright (who is also Andersen's bandmate in TWO PRONGED CROWN and SOULZERO), and drummer Dane Jensen.

HALLOWS EVE last year signed a deal with Xtreem Music. The band returned in 2005 with a self-financed fourth album, entitled "Evil Never Dies", which went unnoticed due to a lack of real promotion and distribution, so the group finally signed a deal with Xtreem Music for a worldwide release that will result in proper exposure for this long-awaited return.

"Evil Never Dies" was recorded at Van Gogh Studios in Atlanta with co-producer Chris Gailfoil. The album follows the release of a two-track single, "Evil Offerings", which was recorded at Van Gogh in 2004.
