MEGADETH, SHADOWS FALL, DREAM THEATER CONFIRMED FOR U.K. DOWNLOAD FEST
MEGADETH, BUCKCHERRY, SHADOWS FALL, DREAM THEATER and TURBONEGRO have been confirmed for the Download festival, set to take place June 8-10 at Donington Park, Leicestershire, England. The festival billing is shaping up as follows (in alphabetical order):

Demand for this year's festival has seen tickets sell faster than ever before, camping spaces have nearly all gone, and festival organizers are looking into an extension to the Donington Park capacity. Download 2007 is fast becoming the must-attend music event of the year.
"(Vocalist) Sy (Keeler) and (drummer) Steve (Grice) will be live on Total Rock Radio with 'Diamond Dave' on Wednesday, March 14th.

Killing Peace, released via Candlelight on March 5th, was recorded at Backstage studio in Derbyshire, England with producer Andy Sneap (ARCH ENEMY, NEVERMORE, MACHINE HEAD, EXODUS).

As previously reported, this year's Ozzfest has been dubbed Freefest, as there will be no charge for tickets. Sponsors including Monster Energy Drink and Jagermeister will offset the revenue normally generated by ticket sales. Details regarding how to obtain the free tickets have not yet been revealed.
