MÖTLEY CRÜE's SIXX Completes 'Eight New Tracks With No Destination In Mind'

MÖTLEY CRÜE bassist Nikki Sixx has posted the following message in his online diary:

"Nothing like a cover-up to help take the nasty taste out of your mouth.

"All I said was 'more black, please,' and all he did was nod his head knowingly, as if to say 'I understand.' It was quick, it was somewhat painless, but the pleasure will last forever….

"The tour is killer, but the days off are killing me. Damn, not enough time to go home and too much time to sit and stare at the same four walls.

" DJ 's [ Ashba , ex- BEAUTIFUL CREATURES guitarist and Sixx 's partner in Funny Farm Studios ] coming out to write music. We've finished up eight new tracks with no destination in mind, just following our hearts and even more so our fingers. Besides being onstage, I have that to look forward to.

"Day off, Charlotte, day off, Camdan, day off, day off, Boston, day off, Boston, day off… Arghhhhhhhhh.

"Rather be in the game than on the sidelines…"

Sixx recently told John Benson of Billboard.com that he's in no rush to begin work on the band's next sudio album, despite previous reports to the contrary.

"There's a lot of [new] music but I don't feel any urgency," he said. "I guess in a perfect world, the [ 'The Dirt' ] movie and the album and the tour would all kind of come at the same time. But in the MÖTLEY world, I doubt it."

The CRÜE 's journey is about to be transformed onto the silver screen with an MTV Films / Paramount project that is slated to move into production this fall. The biopic, which has yet to be cast, is based on the band's autobiography "The Dirt" and is due out next year. Sixx says the band will be "completely involved" in the production.
