MUSTAINE vs. METALLICA AT GIGANTOUR

Last night at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York, Dave Mustaine, frontman Megadeth took the stage and performed the show as usual when he started to play another song by playing the not too familiar notes which were the mixed "Mechanix" song. He said to the mic " That's how THEY play it... This is how WE play it..." Then he and his crews rampaged the whole song with blazing Megadeth style.

THE FEUD IS STILL ON.....?

"Mechanix" is the earlier version of Metallica's song "The Four Horseman" which Mustaine was co-writer with Metallica once he was the band's guitarist. Sadly, after Mustaine was kicked out of the band, Metallica wrote the new lyrics and changed the name to "The Four Horseman". Dave; however, had put this song in the Megadeth debut album and named "Killing Is My Business...and Business Is Good" in 1985.

Dave Mustaine mentioned about this feuds involving with Metallica and Kerry King from Slayer that " "We all have good and bad things in our life. Because I am a public figure, people tend to take sides. What do I have now in my life that causes me problems? I have the ongoing feud with METALLICA that I don't want to have any part of anymore. I have come to terms with all of that and I would like to consider them friends. I also have a feud with Kerry King of SLAYER . I have no idea what that is even about as I have nothing against Kerry . In my entire life, I have two problems. How many people do you know that only have two problems in their life? The sad thing about it is that it is publicized." said Dave while was giving an interview to Classic Rock Revisited last Spring.

BLIND GUARDIAN'S DRUMMER ANSWERS

After the first week of sales, Blind Guardian newest album, "A Twist In the Myth" landed itself at no.13 on Top Heatseeker, and no.21 on Top Independent Albums

During touring in Europe, Fredrik Ehmke, newest drummer answered some questions from fans.

Worst rock 'n' roll injury:

"I once had a nearly broken leg, which was in fact a sports injury. I played one show with my left leg in a cast (I was glad it wasn't the right one!), but luckily, I never got seriously injured on stage or in a musical context in general!!"

Weirdest gift received from a fan:

"We once got a traditional musical instrument by some Russian fans in Moscow. It looks like some kind of harp or lyra. It was actually more a special gift than a weird one... but the surfaces to write autographs on are sometimes really mad!"

Very first tattoo and the circumstances?

"I haven't gotten any tattoos yet. Basically, I like tattoos, but the time and especially the motive weren't right for me 'til now..."

Jimi Hendrix , Janis Joplin , Jim Morrison , all dead at 27. Why is 27 is such a killer?

"I don't know! Several weeks ago I reached the blessed age of 28, so I survived the critical 27. Maybe you have to be a legend in your own lifetime to die at 27? I think you forgot to mention also Kurt Cobain . Didn't he die at the age of 27, too?"
