RAGE NEW DVD IN FEBRUARY

BBM reported that the German power metal band, RAGE filmed their show in St. Petersburg, Russia earlier in the year in front of 15,000 fans for an upcoming live DVD, tentatively due on February 23, 2007 via Nuclear Blast . According to a posting on the band's official web site, RAGE used a "specially designed laser and light show" during the concert and performed highlights from their latest CD, "Speak of the Dead" , along with selections from their earlier albums which were not covered on their previous DVD.

Commented RAGE guitarist Victor Smolski : "This DVD will surpass by far our last DVD 'From the Cradle to the Stage' ."

Also the band has announced the following message:

" At the moment, Victor is working on another big project, a compilation CD for the 20th anniversary of Nuclear Blast. It will be an album, for which Victor will completely compose, record and produce about 10 songs for various metallbands of Nuclear Blast history, inclusive a new RAGE song, furthermore Peavy helped with the lyrics! The organisation is big stress, as it's not so easy, to get musicians from all over the world with different tour- and studio schedules reconciled. A detailed studioreport of this production will follow."

"Brian and Nick have spent months writing these songs and all you fans will be thrilled with the results. We believe this will be the album DH have always threatened to make. What 'All Will Be Revealed' promises, 'What's In Your Head?' delivers - and then some!"

DIAMOND HEAD NEW ALBUM UPDATE / COP WAS CALLED FOR NOISE!?

Diamond Head has issued the following message regarding to their upcoming album:

"Diamond Head are making excellent progress in recording what could prove to be their best album ever. With a working title of, 'What's In Your Head?', the band are working hard to produce a powerful but varied collection of songs, as they always have done ."

Songs that will be appeared on the album include "This Planet and Me" (which is said to be "an immediate favorite"), "Nothing to Lose" ("an hypnotic track with great lyrics from [singer] Nick Tart "), and the "Reign Supreme" ("the heaviest track DIAMOND HEAD have recorded since 'Am I Evil?' ").

The band also update:

"Karl has recorded all the drums at his home studio in LA. The neighbours called in the cops because of the noise - anyone who has heard Karl play will know that he is one of the most powerful drummers in the world!"

" Dave Nicholls is the recording engineer and producer with Brian. He has recently recorded the Slipknot live album, and has also worked with The Wildhearts. He is on tour with Stonesour during the next few months, so recording with DH starts again in January 2007. "
