ULI JON ROTH NEW ALBUM AFTER 20 YEARS

One of the neo classical metal pioneer, Uli Jon Roth has planned to record his first album after 20 years. His production manager, Jeff Agins has reported to BBW that:

"Originally our plan was to follow up with another Sky Academy in April/May. As time nears we see that it would be too restricting as far as a tour associated with the Academy. Uli has a huge task at hand: To record his first rock album in over 20 years! It should be phenomenal and with some surprises! He will start recording in December and that is his main focus at this time. However, The Sky Academy is alive and well with plans a little later in the year.

"We are currently looking at either mid-to-late summer. The plans for 2007 include Sky Academy East Coast (NY) and Sky Academy West Coast (L.A.). The East Coast will be a three-day seminar with one concert and the West Coast will be five days again but with two concerts.

"I am currently negotiating with several L.A. venues and plans for New York are almost in place. All that we need now is to determine what the best time frame will be. I hope that within the next few weeks/month to be able to announce something.

" Sky Academy is an idea conceived by Uli Jon Roth in which he teaches his approach to guitar. It is designed to take players who strive to get to the next level and reach heights not attainable on their own or through any conventional methods.

MARILYN MANSON : 2 MORE SONGS TO COMPLETE NEW ALBUM

MARILYN MANSON told Rolling Stone magazine at the October 31 opening of his new Hollywood art gallery, the Celebritarian Corporation Gallery of Fine Art, that heis nearly done with an album set for a 2007 release. "The process of opening a gallery ended up inspiring me to make a new record," he said. "We're about two songs away from a finished album that we didn't even have a few months ago. It sounds rather pretentious sometimes, but it's easier for me to just call myself an artist — if I decide to do music or if I decide to do a film, it works. I just want to uphold a level of integrity."

ULTIMATE KISS FAN ENLISTING KISS ARMY TO WRITE AND RECORD ULTIMATE TRIBUTE SONG

According to Sleazeroxxx, A&E's Ultimate KISS Fan enlisting the KISS Army & Hollywood to write & record the Ultimate Tribute Song

Bob Brunson, The Ultimate KISS Fan as seen on A&E/Gene Simmon's Family Jewels, is launching a fan-based song-writing project and promotion called..."Friends With Painted Faces."

The idea is to have KISS fans everywhere write down and email, in a few lines, what KISS has meant to them over the years. Brunson will use this input to compose and record a tribute song for the band. "This was one of several ideas I'd mentioned to Gene during the taping of Family Jewels, and something I feel is extremely appropriate for a band that has meant so much to its fans for such a long time now, including me!" said Brunson.

In addition, Brunson is actively seeking/soliciting several well-known Hollywood producers to help with the arrangement and production of the song. "Given where KISS is in its career, as well as Gene's promotional savvy, I want to really maximize the visibility and credibility of the project, positioning it for inclusion in Family Jewels Season 2, and/or Gene's forthcoming Box Set/Greatest Hits!" said Brunson.

Brunson hopes to have this project in full swing before the holiday season, and to be in the studio by first quarter 2007. Bob has just launched his own web site , which is also serving as home base for this promotion. .

"To my knowledge this has never been done. What better way to celebrate three decades of fans by embracing and utilizing their accolades. It's really a win-win situation," said Brunson.
